Sunday 17th August
There was really nothing for breakfast except milk. Finally I realised that I had an ice-cream, but it was too late. I was already on my way to Belem going to see museums: Museu Nacional dos Coches - Beautifully carved coaches from 17th to 19th century. Museu da Marinha: sailors' museum with hundreds of ship models from 15th to 20th century, statues, sea maps, navigation technology etc. And real boats in the exposition hall. I spent about 2,5 hours in the museum.
I went to Oriente shopping center in order to buy some food again, but it was closed. So I bought everything in good old Modelo for a record breaking price of 10 euros (bread, Nutella, nectarines, biscuits 1kg for 1,60 euro, milk, butter and Imperial)
I cooked myself sausages at home at 4pm and went bed. I slept until 9:30pm. Peter and I cooked noodles then and added the rest of sauce left by the others after their spaghetti. Then we play ping pong.
Portuguese beer: the most common are Sagres and Super Bock, the least expensive Imperial and Cristal.
